Danny Pallie wins it, Chris Kelley finally breaks through: Bruins win 2-1 in OT

"It just popped out and I didn't have much of a choice, and it went off the post and in. I mean, for us it was awesome."~ Danial Pallie on OT winner
The Bruins beat the Blackhawks 2-1 in OT last night and oh my gosh it was a great game.
Nevertheless when you look at the score sheet, things were a lot more lopsided than it seemed. Through the first 20 minutes, the Hawks were leading by one but it could have been worse as in that same first frame, they outshout the Bruins 19 to 4 thus forcing Tuukka Rask to play one of his best periods of hockey this postseason. Yet no one is perfect and that fact of human nature was truly exemplified by 1 cutting blast past Rask just over 11 minutes into the game.
With about 8 minutes and 48 seconds to go in the first frame, a shot by Patrick Kane found Rask's pad but lively shot out to streaking barrage of Chicago assault. 8:45 now left in the fame and as the puck bounced around a total of nearly 7 different position players exploded into the crease and struggled to work the puck free. Kane now with the shot but even that was shockingly punched away by a sliding Kaspers Daugavins. Yet even there Chicago didn't quit as while the puck slid out to the hash marks Blackhawk Patrick Sharp wristed it glove side past Rask and in for a 1-0 Chicago lead.
Boston was loosing but like I said before, it could have been worse so long as Tuukka Time himself did not literally give new meaning to the phrase, "the goaltender is standing on his head". Regardless while a goalie can stop shots he can not score them, Tuukka needed his teammates to step up and by the 14 minute mark of the 2nd period his team did just that.
After a great fore-checking play by Andrew Ference, Danial Pallie found the puck behind the Balckhawks net and fought to clear a lane for an open pass. All the while Chris Kelley was now sitting at the hash marks yet right as Pallie spun to the front of the crease, there was lucky Kelley to smack the shot home and score his first goal of the 2013 playoffs. *cough cough finally*.
With the game tied at one, attention shifted back to Tuukka Rask as the eternal question was, could this Boston team hold it together and get the game to OT: they did. Through the second and third periods of last night's game Botston out-shot the Hawks 16 to 9 and that wasn't even the start of it. In the blink of an eye, whatever was said, whatever switch was flipped the Boston Bruins became a different team meaning that when, late in the first OT Danial Pallie roofed the winning goal past Corey Crawford, the expression of pure joy and obvious elation that followed was one of increased shock and beautiful awe.
The Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks duel for the Stanley Cup is now notated at 1 a piece and with the series headed back to the TD Garden, you cant help but like the Bruins chances.
